An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Home Manager to join an Exceptional nursing home within the Coventry area. As a Manager you will be working for one of UK's Leading Healthcare Providers.

 

The care team offers nursing care for people with complex medical needs, and 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. They also provide specialist care for people with mental health conditions where we help our residents re-establish their mental wellbeing, sustain independence and prepare for a move into supported living or their own home

 

As a Deputy Home Manager your day to day duties include:

  • Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
  • Actively ensure the home has the highest possible levels of occupancy – utilising links with the local community, positively marketing the home and increasing public awareness of our services.
  • Take on accountability for the home – ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality.
  • Manage the financial effectiveness of the home - maintain the budget of the home and seek to identify opportunities to increase profitability and reduce cost.
  • Take on an active leadership role – you will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business.
  • Manage every facility in the home – although we are in the care business to deliver this you will manage every service from laundry and maintenance through to catering.

 

An ideal Deputy Home Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         An active NMC PIN with a strong passion and commitment to enhance the specialist services we deliver.

·         A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference.

·         Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.

·         Strong leadership and management qualities are essential and previous experience as a deputy home manager would be desirable.

·         Deputy Managers are critical to the continued success of the business, working across all aspects of care; the role gives a great opportunity to take managerial and leadership responsibilities whilst continuing to deliver clinical care

 

The successful Deputy Home Manager will receive a competitive salary of £20.00 and the annual salary for this position is £41,600. This exciting position is for 40 hours a week on Day shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be a qualified Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
